The role: AI Solutions Consultant / Automation Engineer (Client-Facing)

The tools are at such a practical level that we are able to help anyone build solutions quickly without compromising the quality of the output. Our client network is now asking for a partner who rolls up their sleeves and builds the custom solutions WITH them, having their teams work with people who understand their complex problems and find creative solutions. Now, we're expanding the team to do exactly that.

Here is a quick example of one of the latest projects we've worked on:

A US pharma company's finance team was burning 60+ hours every quarter manually working on supplier rebate invoices, arriving in more than a dozen different formats, into one spreadsheet.

In under two months, we helped their team build an AI agent that reads any layout, extracts the data, runs hard checks on the numbers, files it, and flags anything it can't fully trust, successfully and securely.

Today, they've eliminated both those manual hours and the compliance fines that came with them.

About you

Fluent in automation platforms. Strong with n8n, Make, or similar, and you know how to pick the right tool for the job.

Experienced in client-facing delivery. You've scoped and run software projects directly with B2B clients and owned that relationship.

A practical and creative problem-solver. You have a solution proposal to every problem, not the other way around.

A clear communicator. Fluent in English. You make complex work simple and handle client feedback constructively.

Proactive. You spot what needs doing and drive it forward independently, take ownership, and adapt when needed.

What you will do

Own AI and automation projects end-to-end, from the first scoping call to delivery.

Turn problems into plans. Scope the need, define a clear execution plan, and keep delivery on track.

Build and manage automations. Design and ship AI workflows that solve problems.

Present with confidence. Explain your reasoning, handle questions and pushback, and keep clients aligned.

Collaborate on delivery. Work closely with the client and the team.

Support training. Occasionally, lend your hands-on credibility to a workshop or session.

Technical skills we value

Core: n8n / Make or equivalent platforms · No-code and low-code automation · AI workflow and agent tooling · Advanced prompting · Claude workflows and advanced Claude usage · PowerAutomate

Nice to have: Copilot Studio · teaching or facilitation experience · applied AI project environments

Hiring process
We respect the time you will put into this, you can expect a hands-on process with a lot of space for you to show how you approach problems. The process will be as crisp as possible, honest, including feedback. We are open to all questions you might have for us.
Intro Call: we get to know your background, experience, and what drives you.
Take-home exercise: a practical automation challenge built on an anonymized client project, so you can show how you think, structure, and build.
Presentation: you walk us through your solution the way you would with a client.
Live working session: a collaborative session with the team you'd be working with, solving a simple problem together.
Final call: alignment on expectations, compensation, and next steps.
Compensation & contract
Freelance, full-time · Remote (EU-time zone friendly) · €45K–€60K/year depending on experience and location · Preference is for a freelancer contract with a personal company and a valid VAT number.
